Maja Radisic

A Croatian immigration and business specialist, Maja (pronounced Maya) is a versatile professional who has mastered fluency in the English, Spanish, Slovenian, Croatian, and Serbian languages. Her educational journey culminated with a Juris Doctor (Magistrum Iuris) from Croatia's most prestigious law school in Zagreb.

Maja is a dedicated professional with a profound passion for immigration issues and a wealth of experience in the field. After working in Mexico for a decade, she currently resides in the United States and is married to an American. Maja's journey into immigration matters began in 2010 when she led human resources (HR) for a large-scale international company that hired talent globally. This experience kick started her involvement in immigration issues, allowing her to understand the complexities and nuances that individuals and families face when pursuing new horizons in foreign lands.

Maja's personal connection to Croatian immigration is equally compelling. She has successfully navigated the Croatian, Italian and American citizenship process for her own family members, securing their citizenship and passports. This firsthand experience has solidified her commitment to assisting others in their quest for Croatian citizenship by ancestry. Since relocating to the United States in 2018, Maja has worked as a professional in facilitating Croatian citizenship by descent, sharing her knowledge and experience to guide clients through the intricate process.

Marta Galic

Marta Galic was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, and her career reflects the same discipline she demonstrated as a Division I NCAA athlete and member of Croatia's national basketball team. She earned her undergraduate degree in Finance summa cum laude from the University of San Francisco and completed her MBA at Tulane University. Growing up with a father who built a career in international M&A law, Marta developed an early familiarity in multinational legal and business environments. She began working at a Zagreb law firm at sixteen, supporting the founding partner across administrative functions through her early twenties. She later interned at a San Francisco-based management consultancy, contributing to project management and client service delivery.

Fluent in Croatian and English, Marta serves as Croatia Navigator's Operations & Client Services Manager, where she oversees client documentation, manages operations with our legal partners, and works closely with federal and local administrative offices in Croatia. The network and institutional knowledge she brings from years of living and working in Croatia translate directly into faster, smoother outcomes for clients.

Lucija Perkovic

Lucija Perkovic, born and raised in Croatia, brings firsthand, native knowledge of Croatia to everything she does for the team. She graduated with a Master's degree in Information Sciences and History from the University of Zagreb, and has built a career that spans international sales in Mexico and the Caribbean, digital content creation, and teaching.

At Croatia Navigator, Lucija plays a central role in client documentation services, overseeing the preparation, review, coordination, and quality control of official materials to ensure full accuracy and compliance. She also handles translation reviews, bringing both Croatian fluency and English proficiency to every client file. Her deep familiarity with Croatian systems, language, and culture, combined with her international experience, makes her an invaluable resource in helping clients navigate the citizenship journey.

Davor Rukonic

A native Croatian, Davor Rukonic, completed his Masters in Law from the Zagreb School of Law, marking the beginning of a significant legal career. With over ten years of experience at two prominent law firms in Zagreb, Davor developed expertise in several legal areas including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and immigration. In his current role as a senior legal advisor in Zagreb, Davor focuses on financial legal issues. His work is crucial in providing strategic guidance and insights, particularly in the complex legal framework surrounding financial matters and their complexities.

His professional background and broad professional network, contributes significantly to the organization's ability to navigate the complexities of citizenship by ancestry in Croatia. Domagoj Boljar

Domagoj Boljar is a Zagreb-based entrepreneur and business leader with over two decades of experience in the global footwear industry. A graduate of VERN University with a degree in Business and Entrepreneurship, he co-founded and serves as CEO of Earthbound Sneakers (Miret d.o.o.), a Certified B Corporation producing award-winning 97% natural footwear. Under his leadership, the company has secured multiple funding rounds from Croatian and European investors, won the 2025 Goldman Sachs pitch competition in New York City, and earned the 2026 Generali Croatia SME EnterPRIZE award in the Environment category – recognition reserved for businesses demonstrating measurable environmental impact.

Beyond building his own company, Boljar is a respected figure in the Croatian entrepreneurial community, actively mentoring the next generation of founders. His deep roots in Croatia, firsthand knowledge of its business and institutional environment, and cross-border experience bridging Croatian and U.S. markets make him a trusted voice on the advisory board – offering grounded, real-world perspectives on Croatian affairs, culture, and commerce.
